Using Potty Training Charts
There has always been debate on whether to reward or not to reward a toddler, not only for using or not using the potty, but for other things he/she does or does not do. The question began from the idea that rewarding a child with candy or toys or other objects given might damage them. As a consequence individuals have invented potty training reward charts which have the effect of encouraging and praising the child not 'bribing', and as a result damaging, the youngster.

Some suggest that if instead of trying out potty training reward charts you decide on using candy or other things, the child will maybe develop deviant behaviour. He/she will only act if given the reward.
In addition to potty training reward charts, you might also want to use other types of incentives to help your child reach the potty training targets. Read your child a story or let them flush the toilet. Whatever, no matter what you have in your head to reward the child don't forget that they don't need to be elaborate or costly.
